The daily fresh cakes at breakfast were a lovely surprise, and the serene environment added to the experience. The sloping walk back to Fira can be a bit challenging after a long day.

The host is an English teacher in Santorini. She is very very nice and helpful. You can enjoy the fantastic breakfast besides clear swimming pool. The room is clean and nice as well. Moreover, they provides free shuttle service, which is really out of our expectation with such low price. Strongly recommended!!!

The location was quiet and ideal - just walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. Local fast food option Taqueria Los Tres Amigos was 5 minutes walk away. The room was modern with a balcony and the staff thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast offered was large with different options.

Evi's fresh homemade breakfast every morning, especially the pancakes, was a good start to each day.

The room we stayed in had high humidity, difficult to dry our clothes.

Danae Villa is the best value for money accommodation I have ever booked. The room was a good size, clean, with a decent size bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was lovely and clean, breakfast was fine, and all this plus pick up from the ferry and drop off to the airport for a very small price. The host Evi is so so generous. We originally booked 2 nights but found we couldn't get there on the day planned (ferry was full!), and she didn't charge us a cancellation fee. She greeted us warmly, told us everything we needed to know, then left us to it. Upon checkout she gave us a small Santorini souvenir hand painted by her and her daughter. Cute! 5 min walk to bus station from where you can get anywhere on the island. Next time we will stay longer.

Danae Villa offers a fine hill climb that feels less like a good stroll and more like a forced workout. The so-called 'great pool' was hardly ever tended to, quite disappointing. I really thought I woudl ve been greeted with a complimentary gesture for my stay, but apparently, that's only for the 'special' guests.

The best part of our stay at Danae Villa was the hospitality shown by Evi. She made us feel at home and catered to our every need considering that we had a baby girl of 1.5yrs and a 7 year old son. I strongly recommend a stay at her place which I am sure my husband and I will revisit as we completely love Santorini..and Evi made it even more special for us.

The staff was outstanding - from the pickup at the port to the final billing. Evi did everything to make our stay comfortable. She doubled as a tour guide giving us directions to the best places to see. She made a wonderful Greek salad for the guests to try and did an cooking demonstration on making Greek coffee. The rooms were very nice and the pool area is delightful.

The location was 10-15 minutes walk to the main part of Fira. This wasn't a problem for us but we didn't return to the room often during the day.

Evi made us feel like family , always checking in on us and providing excellent local recommendations.

The uphill walk back from Fira can be tiring after a long day of exploration.

Thin curtains allowing too much morning light!!! A small pool for the number of guests is quite disappointing!!! The uphill walk to town can become more tiring in hot weather, impacting overall enjoyment!!!

Good, very good owner! All i can say is she is very nice and kind! before check-in she will send you an email and ask if you need to be picked up at the airport. After check-out she will drive you to the airport and give you a gift, (I'm not going to say what's it, it's a very good gift for us). Consider the very low price, Danae Villa is a perfect choice. I consider it as an apartment with a 4-star service. Will come again! !!

Our favourite, small family run hotel in Fira with attentive staff.

Evi's hospitality shone throughout my visit. She checked in regularly. The breakfast choices were good. Every morning I enjoyed homemade pancakes and fresh ingredients. The room was clean and well-stocked, providing all the essentials. The pool area was a perfect retreat, even offering a great view of the surroundings. The uphill walk back to Fira after a long day could be tiring, especially in the heat. I had a very enjoyable time, supported by Evi and a cozy ambiance.

we stayed 3 nights in danae villa.evi and her husband , the owners of danae villa, were very kind , helpful and lovely.we were transferred by evi's husband , from and to the airport, without charge.evi(english teacher) welcomed us with coffee and cookies and with adorable smile. the room with its veranda are excellent. the breakfast was good and evi tried evry morning to add something new to the meal.we were allowed to keep our room in the last day of our stay ,till 6pm , whithout additional charge.the wi fi was free and reliable. we loved our little talk with evi and she gave us practical valuable information about santorini. we were given by evi towels, to use in our boat trip to the caldera. we will highly recommend danae villa to our friends and we hope to return again to it.
